I had no other dpe choices this time because my 60 days were about to lapse. I get in the plane, do my runup and realize I forgot to save the chart supplements on foreflight. Dpe notices Im trying to figure out how to get the center frequency but also realizes I do not have any chart supplements. I would simply download the charts on my phone if I had service to do so, but yeah somehow they got deleted off my phone and I did not have them on my ipad.
Dpe then takes the controls and taxis us back and says he is doing me a favor by not failing me. Takes my 450$ plus tip and tells me to come back next week before my shit lapses. He says he wont charge me as much, but I do not want to give this man another dime. Ive spent 1300$ on these two commercial checkrides and I have yet to take off in a plane.
I haven't failed any check rides before this one and I'm going to have to do the whole check ride over again if I do not do it next week. I'm thinking fuck this dude because it clearly isn't working with him.
