Started biking to work last week, I'm loving it. I have so much more energy during the day, and lost 7 lbs already.
Got a new bottom bracket and rear derailleur (not pictured), with new cranks on the way since my chainrings have a lot of runout and the chain rubs on the front derailleur on and off. Bottom bracket was stiff but now the bike spins like a dream. Also a derailleur guard, bullhorns, new cabling, are all on the way from China.
I have trouble shifting into top gear (rear), hence the new derailleur, but it still struggles. My H limit is set just inward of the setting that causes the chain to jump off. Also the cable is slack when trying to shift to top gear i.e. derailleur is at limit of travel. I realized today my derailleur mount is bent inwards and that's probably what's causing it, either that or a worn freewheel (chain is new).
