>>1100524The first photo is where the spring naturally rests right, with the shifter in the highest gear (or whatever direction would uncoil the spring)? I guess there doesn't need to be much more tension on the spring so perhaps it goes here, if the circled part is a hole.
This is really bugging me now, wish I could have a look at the thing in person.
