JR Hokkaido has just revealed the KiHa 261-5000 Hamanasu Set to the public, and the first trip it'll make is on the October 17/18 weekend as two one-day tours between Sapporo and Otaru to commemorate 140 years of Hokkaido railways. Then in the next four weekends it will partake in two roundtrips on four different routes in place of the regular sets
Oct 24/25: Okhotsk 1 (Sapporo to Abashiri) and Taisetsu 4 (Abashiri to Asahikawa)
Oct 30 / Nov 1:: Oozora 3 (Sapporo to Kushiro) and Oozoro 8 (Kushiro to Sapporo)
Nov 7 / 8: Hokuto 6 (Sapporo to Hakodate) and Hokuto 19 (Hakodate to Sapporo)
Nov 14/15: Souya (Sapporo to Wakkanai) and Sarobetsu 4 (Wakkanai to Sapporo)
