It's really fun to try different things that haven't been done already (or at least things that haven't been mass produced).
Half the people I work with love this frame, half of them hate it. I think it's neat.
Unfortunately, it is highly polarizing, so you rarely see a paint scheme like this on a complete bike that costs less than $1,500, due to the cost of painting, and because it's too "out there" for the general public.
Frameset here is $1,500.
