>>1010533I choose the jekyll over the trigger because I mainly road bike and wanted a fun bouncy bike rather than a more speed orientated one. The two travel modes for the rear shock is much better than a traditional lock out. On smoother, rolling trails or climbs I leave it in short travel (95mm-20% sag) mode then use the long travel (160mm-37.5% sag) when riding steep down hill type tracks. Being able to independently adjust the sag between the two modes allows the geometry of the bike to be changed with the flick of a lever which is cool as fuck in my opinion. Bottom bracket wore out after 3 months Which I replace with a praxxis unit, brake pads, cassette and chain as well which i replaced like for like. I also fitted a non stealth reverb which is a must for this bike. It has covered over 3000 off road, muddy miles now and has been plenty reliable. I love the triple ring up front as well, on most rides I use all three front rings and it works great, no dropped chains although the outer rings looks a bit chewed up now from the occasional impact it works fine.
tldr: Good all round bike that will do a bit of everything reasonably well, from XC to DH
