>>1579775I hadn’t ridden the 26” in 9 years, it had 30psi front and back with cheap 2.0” tires on it, the brakes were even older and the pads were literally crumbling away, the fork hadn’t been serviced in 9 years and cried serious oil with any kind of riding, the rear shock had a major air leak and was probably half the pressure it should’ve been by the time I rode it (and it was set up that morning for someone 40lbs less than me), and the headset stack wasn’t tightened so the fork wobbled a lot.
I brought my two full suspension bikes that day and used my hardtail a few times weeks after, nothing was as fast as that run
