Nice ride today but fuck the wind was strong. Sustained 20mph and gusts that went higher. Even when it's not a headwind still takes a lot of your energy just to deal with keeping the bike upright when it gusts. I tried an alternate route on my way home hoping that I'd be protected from the wind by some trees but i ended up on a climb that was impossibly steep. I can climb 10% grades just fine but this was more like 15%. I had to bail out and walk up the hill, was embarrassing but oh well. Still a really nice day
