So I went for another urban night ride again. It was going quite well when a stupid cyclist started steering into my lane. I tried to dodge but alas, I was unable to. We managed to break but still crashed. Bruised my leg, and ended up with a bent wheel. Unfortunately, I did not realize about the wheel so I will have to foot the bill.
The takeaways for me here are to buy a fucking LOUD bell and ring it very proactively, and to stick to empty roads more often. Maybe a helmet too not because I am an idiot, but because others definitely are.
