>>1352126This section is only served by a single line (9), so it's not that big of a problem. I can't tell you whether it has gotten better or not, as I've only ever ridden the trams as far as Schwarzer Bär.
I remember watching a documentary on Hannover Stadtbahn in which a car had to get towed for parking on the tracks somewhere in that area. One of the reason why I advocate fitting trams with particle desintegration rays.
>>1352135That's very interesting. Street-running in one direction, independent ROW in the other. Never seen that before.
It's amazing how similar the networks of Hannover and Stuttgart are. Stuttgart has a network of
>17+2 lines>131 kilometers>201 stations>14 underground>501 000 passengers per day (2018)Hannover has
>12+2 lines>127 kilometers>197 stations>19 underground>482 000 passengers per day (2016) However, Stuttgart is much larger than Hannover. Stuttgart has 633 000 inhabitants, 1 395 000 in the urban area, 5 200 000 in the metropolitan area.
Hannover has 535 000 inhabitants, 715 000 in the urban area, 3 780 000 in the metropolitan area. Hence why I think Hannover Stadtbahn is absolutely amazing for the job that it's doing. It does as much as Stuttgart Stadtbahn, but for a population half the size.
