>>1692532You can weld but didn’t know that welding titanium is a much more difficult, expensive and meticulous process?
It’s a separate class from aluminum, and hell, aluminum welding is a separate class from steel (which I’m assuming is all you can weld)
I think bike frames made from steel bike tubes and buying pre-made chunks like BB, headtube, and dropouts might honestly be simpler than making formed parts
A frame jig is very important though, you hopefully already know that welds can shift drastically while cooling and you need something to hold it all together at the right angles in place. If I was gonna make a frame I’d make a jig out of 8020 aluminum (I don’t know if this is a brand or if 8020 is a generic name) it’s basically aluminum beams that can be bolted together pretty precisely, it’s a good setup for a frame jig, plus once you’re done you can disassemble the 8020 into something else like a VR driving rig
I think if you found a real bike autist he’d probably pay you to make custom frames to their geometry and specs, I know if I had endless time and welding skills I’d be out there making nonsense geometry bike after nonsense geometry bike, just to get a feel for the worst case scenario of my bike geo
