CTA 5000 series built between 2009-2015. Exterior wise it looks the same as the 3200 series that finished delivery in 1994, but there's a lot of differences with AC propulsion being the top since the rest of the CTA fleet uses DC propulsion.
Unless CSR Sifang America skips out on compatibility for its future 7000 series for the CTA, the 5000s can only be mechanically coupled to the remaining DC fleet.
