>>1738583my bar inner width is 19mm. i feel like it should work since the 18mm plug width matches the flanges on the silver road bar plugs so it will be a tight fit with the bar tape pinched between the plug and the bar. but i'll see irl how it works out. see pic related for how conventional plugs look, i think it would be better for the plug to have a flatter profile (at least for how my bike looks and for aero reasons) and for it to have a smaller diameter so that that the plug is less exposed vs the bar tape and so it looks tidier visually.
