>>974615I don't know, I have ridden nothing but rigid bikes for the past few years. I commute 65 miles per week on the nastiest possible, unmaintained roads. My knuckles are white on some surfaces, and signaling a turn over washboard pavement is just dangerous. I took a test spin on a cheap 29er hardtail and the suspension does make the ride more comfortable and safer. It just adds 25% to my commute time.
