US domestic production has been steadily declining for nearly two decades because of this. Utah is one of the few states I know of in the west planning to build a new *commercial* reactor in the next decade, and Arizona's been running its commercial reactor (largest in US) for 35 years straight and at most can extend it to 60 years.
