Pic is my 80s Mifa, horrible geometry for going fast but trying anyways. Just recently got a full carbon saddle from aliexpress. Last time I posted someone wanted to know more about this bike: never try to build east german bikes from the ground up, they used 22mm seatposts and M26x1mm threaded forks. This also results in slightly larger headset diameters. I replaced the fork with a BLB one in order to mount a usable brake. Shimmed the headset with metal strips from a coca cola can, to maximize capitalism vs communism. If you plan on doing this, top headset bearing requires 3layers of strips, bottom 2. Bottom bracket is not threaded, but I managed to find something like pressfit with plastic cups, but cant really remember what.
Also currently building another east german frame, pic will follow tuesday or so.
