last sunday, i took the train north from nyc to croton-on-hudson. rode up to the new reservoir, then picked up the croton aquaduct trailway and headed back south. the trailway follows the route of the original aquaduct that brought water into nyc. pretty comfy trailway mostly made up of doubletrack, little bit of singletrack and slightly technical sections.
