Channels like City Beautiful, Not Just Bikes, Oh The Urbanity! and other Youtube channels are leftists and anti-automobile. Chuck Maron is not anti-automobile. He is not trying to save the trees! with his work. He is just trying to move American cities to a more traditional and cost efficient city planning methodology. When most Americans look at those leftist channels, they feel like their way of life is attacked. They never stop harping on getting rid of SUVs, Cars, pickup trucks, etc... They basically tell Americans that you are stupid, wasteful and your way of life is a detriment to a carbon free utopia. This is not how Strong Towns presents itself. It tries to tell people why it is cost effective, why our current methodology is inefficient and how decreasing our reliance on automobiles can benefit everyone.
