The move AWAY from diesel buses proves me right: diesel buses are awful. The fact that they're moving to battery buses just means that battery buses are less awful, and probably cheaper up-front (no nasty fixed instructure to frontload your budget!). But that doesn't mean that battery buses are GOOD: they're still far, far, worse than doing the sensible thing and using trollybuses.
