>>1869056>Looked up UK and their violence peaked in early 90's doesn't really make senseThat's about 20 years from the peak of automobile use in urban areas.
Look at the chart again, there is a time shift.
Lead affects the brain most in the early development stage and the age group with the highest rate of violent crime is early 20s.
>>1869082>>1869113>>1869108I am not a statistician, a neurologist, biologist, criminologist, meteorologist, anthropologist, traffic or automotive engineer.
I am just a recently graduated electronics engineer.
I've only scratched the surface of statistical analysis and don't have enough time in two more lifetimes to begin to truly understand the rest.
My level of understanding of all of this is basically pop science and I have a grudge against the automotive industry.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IV3dnLzthDAThe only thing I have is trust in certain institutions and the faith that they do their research with the same scientific methods, discipline and rigor that I was taught and shown proof to.
The studies are there and there are methods and substance to them, it's just that you can't realistically understand it all as a single individual.
That's why, ironically, science based policy depends on some faith and trust from the ones not doing the science.
