In Zurich after the opening of tram line 2 extension trolleybus line 31 has been cut back, as it ran parallel to this new tram extension. Interestingly this tram line existed in the past as part of the same line 2 but was converted to trolleybus and joined with trolleybus 31 which replaced tram line 1.
Anyway, at the new trolleybus terminus new wires have been hung for the new trolley loop. I thought they were going to have the buses turn around on battery power, but nope, they did build new wires.
