>>1423606>>1423640>>1423641>>1423645>>1423660>Mate we'd love to hear all the model train drama you have>Join the oldest HO scale club in Twin Cities>Start in September, get key in February, public exposition "season" is over in April>Collect a bunch of stuff, mostly practice tuning cars and locos the way I want/need>There is a newer club on the north side of Minneapolis, some members take notice of me>Get an invite to visit and operate during an open house, later encouraged to join>Sign up with club and join NMRA, now a member of two clubs>Make friends and whatnot>Skip ahead to last month, first club is open to public on weekends again, my other club friends come to see me>They pay to see the layout/library>They buy stuff from our little store corner ($150 between the two of them)>They are almost attacked with questions by a couple members who are interested in other club>Even try to help a couple of our guys who are having issues>Dopey, semi-retarded fuckhead guy takes notice of their presence, gets pissed that they are getting attention.>He tells me after shutdown, "I don't like them coming here and trying to recruit other members.">I politely tell him he shouldn't complain about visitors who throw down hundreds of dollars on us>Two days later he messages the other club's facebook page saying how he doesn't want to see any other members at #1 club ever again, that all members are "banned" (he doesn't have authority) and other made-up shit>Four days later he blasts the #2 club PR guy on Facebook, insulting the club and saying how unprofessional they are as well as more made-up shit>Meanwhile I am feeding this all back to officers in #1 clubSo the plus side is he won't talk to me anymore, which is great, cuz he wanted to talk too much about his fucking karaoke shit. The sad fact is he will be the death of my first club and no one will stop him because of his head-fuckery. So many members, past and present, can't stand him.
