>>1315519 I’m in England, so picture the average bluebell filled woodland path and that’s what I want to be able to ride, maybe some more bumpy country park descents, as well as road.... but I have dreams of touring backcountry lanes in Europe. From what
>>1315513 and
>>1315507 have said I think I could potentially brute force it or get away with good skills and slower pace, but I don’t like the idea of slowly chugging away on muddy country lanes if I did something the Lands End to John o when I could have gone to 35mm for not much weight or road performance penalty.
I think I will keep the Supersix Evo because I got a great deal on it, build some light-ish rims and put some knobbly 30mm or whatever I can get away with on the rear, same for the front, and potentially borrow a wheel to try a larger front tire. What would you do if you owned this frame and wanted to do the kind of riding I mentioned (not racing, I’m more of an /out/ type)
Oh, forgot to mention - it’s an Evo Hi Mod, which might be a bit of a meme but this thing is a feather, 750g before I strip the paint and bosses
