Are there any serious downsides to walking a lot and fast? I don't walk as much as I stride, mostly out of necessity, I walk to work and I walk during work (busy warehouse), I also walk recreationally at a slower pace during weekends, probably ~30-35 miles a week. I feel alright at 31, energetic even, but I wonder if one day my knees would explode or something, considering that I have flat feet I probably put additional strain on the bones too.
