>>1882401i'm trying to point out there is no "solar powered" train because you're talking about an entirely closed of solar energy loop WHICH DOES NOT EXIST CUNT. not even in spain, turkey, egypt, the uae, or any other place. these nations run on natural gas. the closest thing we have to this is norway, costa rica, and uruguay which all are hydro states. the other close ones are sweden, france (and ontario if we consider provinces/states of countries) which have the 1+2 punch of nuclear+hydro.
you're avoiding my assertions and not talking about the problems of the solar energy issue. how the fuck are your solar trains gonna work at night or the winter?
>>1882473whole ass the figures i took from the uk's government smashed together "electricity" for consumption because renewable generation and the actual MWh actually delivered are ENTIRELY different. what matters is CONSUMPTION. that's when you're using that electricity to perform some sort of useful work. if you actually looked at the graph, it's kinda curious how they didn't show the actual amount of renewable electricity being used because it's really fucking hard to figure out because you have to account for the energy lost during conversion to AC from the inverter AND the heat loss during transmission to the substation that would be connected to the end user. your head would spin if the uk kept figures like the EIA does for the states. look at how much california has actually accomplished in the year where we saw the greatest self reduction of CO2 emission. nothing.
really hard to talk about infrastructure when you all don't know how it works or the deeper systems that make the trains move.
