Bros, my gf really hates that I ride my bike, she gets worried too much when I talk about riding, she is afraid some cager will crush me, even if I'm a really safe rider and only ride in good roads and people around here respect cyclists a lot, I mean, last year, in a country with a population of 47M only 36 cyclist died, there is a chance that I can die of course, but very very slim. Today I made some joke about exercising, with her, walking at slow pace and together, and with my bike sweating and dying,and she got really mad.
How do you deal with that situation with your partners?, I have been with her for 5 months, I love her but if she ever say me to choose between cycling and her I will drop her fast, even if I'm not an avid cyclist, I don't ride a lot, I like the exercise, the relaxing part of riding and enjoying the air.
