Friend invited me to go on some light off road stuff and borrowed me a 700x38 tire to put on my quasi troll road bike. It has nice 30mm on the back and no room for more so i figured i'd put it on the front. Slotting all the way on the drop out end up touching the brake calliper, so i figured out i might add some nuts as spacer between the axle and the drop out.
It works but im afraid it might put unequal amounts of pressure in the contact point of the axle and breake it. Is my concern reasonable or im talking rubbish? Pic related
