>>1403741if your aspen way is anywhere near as in good condition as pic then i wouldn't bother with discs on it while you're still learning. Those are some of the best rigid mtb frames in Brazil to make a gravel/cx conversion from and it would be a shame to trash it (if it is already trashed then go ahead).
I guess the chainstays are strong enough to take some disc brake force, i know for a fact that the fork isn't, no matter how premium the bike is, Caloi always put some crap unicrown forks on then, i gaurantee that at least half of their old rigid mtb models out there have their forks bent at the steerer to a certain deegre, i doubt the blades would resist the amount of force disc brakes might apply on them (i remember a old photo of a caloi 10 with adapted disc brakes callipers bent like paper)
Check if your model is double butted (ATN was), it might make things more sketchy if it is.
Good luck anão
>>1403849welcome, post dirty pictures
>>1403924now that looks like absolute fun, weird way to drink water tho
>>1404436the ones avaliable on my country are beyond dogshit and people spot weld it in place to make it "legit"
i just put a new thicker chain (1/8") on my sundown thing and it feel bomb proof now
question: i'm trying to learn to remount like a cx racer, is it safe for the frame if my first attempt are basically me jumping into the seat? i feel like it's no good to hit the bike from above like that
