The new 323s (as well as the 225-100 and 225-5100s) are looking sharp. Arguably better looking than the E235s. Kinki Sharyo sure makes a nice looking train when JR West bothers to spend money on new rolling stock.
Kind of makes me wish JR East got rid of its aging E217s on the Yokosuka/Sobu-Rapid. The line would be a good test bed for an outer-suburban variant of the E235, since the stock on other DC-powered suburban lines (Tokaido, Utsunomiya, Takasaki) is still made up of relatively new E231-1000 (2005) and E233-3000s (2008).
