im gonna try the front brake with a traditional straddle cable not the shimano link wire which needs replacing anyway.
I suspect these link wires degrade braking. It just seems like they would. And because the brake cable runs over the rack, the cable won't drag and catch the tyre if it snaps.
and try some kool stops. If that still sucks, try these tektro i have spare. If that sucks, bite the bullet, cane creek levers or something and full vs.
