From a cursory look online, this is a BMW Active Line Mountain Bike which folds along the seat tube. i.e. a folding bike. I plan on flipping it after I clean it up and deboomer the frame.
Looks to be made in 1996 or 1997. Made and manufactured by a company called Montague and was the "official" mountain bike for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta given to athletes to bike to and from the games to their private accommodations.
Regarding the components other than it being a 7-spd I don't know what is original and what isn't. The front derailer is a Suntour XCE and the rear is a Shimano 200 CX. Canti Shimano brakes. Full Chromo frame. Paint is 8/10 to 9/10.
