Also, what pedals are you using? I currently have nukeproof "horizon comp" flat pedals, made of a composite, I thought the riding I did was soft enough to not warrant needing metal but these pedals are looking pretty battered after only half year or so of use. Each pedal has these 4 plastic pins, the rest being metal screws, but the 4 plastic ones have all broken off at different lengths, one has gone completely lol, and the end caps started leaking grease for some reason.I tried to tighten them but after 1/2 a turn they came lose again so I can only assume the plastic thread is fucked.
Might as well accompany this unnecessarily long ass post with a pic of my 29" hardtail, nice and clean (unlike right now) in this pic. Was actually snowing a bit when I took this but can't see due to shitty camera.
