I'm riding tektro wide profile cantis and they pretty much suck. I've used plenty of normal low profile Shimano cantis and they feel fine, good even. I'm looking to replace my brakes with a more powerful lower profile cantis. I'll probably just buy some nice used CX cantis off eBay, any recommendations?
I will be using cartridge style brake pads so smooth post mounting is a no go.

Sheldon browns site sort of agrees? But people in this thread are saying both.

I'm using wide profile cantis right now, I've set them up best I can. And they feel a lot weaker than any low profile cantis I've used (I've used a lot). And this is with koolstops.
