I meant that you can process the algae with yeast to create ethanol. The other by product is basically vegetable oil. In fact you could extract the oil then probably ferment the rest to create ethanol.
Nature is literally the best way of harnessing the power of the sun and storing it in non toxic and safe hydrocarbons or alcohol. Large hydrocarbons like vegetable oil and its petrol counterpart kerosene are very safe and not easy to ignite while ethanol is non toxic and pretty good safety, especially if it is diluted a bit which would be fine for portable energetic solutions.
