- Hokuto will be reduced from 24 regular services to 20 regular + 2 seasonal services (not in service for around 30 days / year)
- Lilac / Kamui will be reduced from 48 regular services to 40 regular + 4 season services (not in service for around 230 days / year)
- Taisetsu between Asahikawa and Abashiri will become seasonal services while Okhotsk will remain normal
- Two of the four Sarobetsu services between Asahikawa and Wakkanai will become seasonal
- Hokuto and Oozara will reduce from 7/6 cars to 5 cars and cars to be added back if demand requires it.
- Various service reductions around the Sapporo Area, Northern + Eastern Hokkaido plus closure of stations with little to no passengers
