look at those shoes, the soles look fairly firm? they don't sag horribly like those cheap trashy canvas shoes. a lot of flat pedal anons hate on clipless pedals and shoes because they imagine that the SPD shoes are so horrible to walk in because of the stiff soles, but normal people can use almost any style of shoes without too much issue. maybe flexy shoes are desirable for running, skateboarding etc but it seems for walking it's better to have shoes with a decent amount of support.
