I'm completely stumped. I cleaned my entire cassette, chainring and chain a few days ago, it was pretty dirty but the bike was riding just fine.
Anyways, I completely degreased it, dried it, lubed it and now when I'm on the highest gear, if I'm putting a lot of power into my pedals the chainring clicks and kind of jumps every few seconds.
I didn't make any adjustments to the derailleur. So today I decided to make some adjustments. I have a Shimano 105 Di2 so it's electric, and you can make micro-adjustments with a mode. Did that several times, test rode like 5 times already and no matter what I do it is still skipping.
Do you guys think this thing is worn down and that's what's causing the issues? It doesn't look in that bad shape, and I just replaced my entire cassette back in April, probably rode about 4000 miles on this so far and because where I live is completely flat I basically ride on this gear 80% of the time.
I just can't figure out what else could be causing this. I adjusted the B screw multiple times. Checked the limit screws, both were fine. Micro adjusted from the 5th largest gear as I've watched in like 4 tutorial videos. Still can't get it to work right.
