I'm building a do-it-all steel bike for cheap and I'm kind of on the fence about the bars. I don't want to buy anything new and I already have compact dropbars, MTB wide flat bars, 38cm flat bars and traditional drops. All of them except the traditional drops work fine with my front rack so I can exclude that one.
I'll need to buy brake levers regardless of my choice, I just want to make the right choice now so I don't have to buy two sets eventually because I regret the choice of handlebars.
I'll be using the bike daily for my commuting/shopping/whatever, no long trips or anything like that.
Any opinions?
Also would like some recommendations on good, cheap 28/32c tyres with good grip for the occasional dirt path
