After two years of trying, I've finally decided to call it quits on A&P school. I have to face the facts, I'm just not a very good mechanic.
I'm going to give flight school a try though. Even if I didn't do well in A&P school, I still feel like I soaked up enough information to give me a solid base to push off from. Hopefully I'll be better on the operational end of aeronautics than I was at the maintenance end.
