TRP is supposed to be high quality. there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the mechanism and the tolerances seem good except for the hole placement on the carbon lever blade. the right lever blade is mounted further away from the bar so the spring tension pushes the top of the lever blade back into the hood at a greater angle and the bottom tip of the blade pokes out further from the bar.
