I saw the most adorable road kill today.
It finally warm enough for the first time in nearly 2 weeks for an enjoyable ride. The wind was gusting to 40 km/h, but couldn't pass up -10C. Mostly just tooling around on the fat bike close to home for 2 hours. Rode across a field to checkout a bridge under construction, then rode around on a frozen creek to a golf course, followed some random dog walker tracks along a railway.
There was a sketchy section of ice with some heaved up areas. Broke through a hollow pocket with my rear tire but kept rolling. Since there was no water seeping up into the snow there was probably good ice under the thin part.
