im looking to fin the closet thing to a freestyle bmx i can get with an ebike.
small, light, 'responsive' whatever that means
i would like something with minimal proprietary parts, and would like to avoid electronic equipment that is non-standard and/or phased out...
im guessing i would want some hard tail mountain ebike, i would probably lock out the forks.
what mtb type is closest to a jumpy/bunnyhoppy bmx geometry? i know i wouldnt be bunnyhopping onto handrails, but it would be nice to pull up out of curb cuts, stairs and the occasional bank to wallride.
i dont want giant 29in wheels, and i know no one makes 26in mountain bikes anymore do i have any other options for smaller wheels on a mtb? are there any older/cheaper/used e-mtb on 26in wheels?
black friday is coming up, do 50% off clearance deals ever exist for this kind of crap? is it easy to find used mtb stuff, i bet i could find ebikes with thrashed batteries/motors, but the actual mtb i completely unabused
any recommendations on where and what to look for?
