Not included in the 3.95kg are lights/mounts and Cateye computer (all very light) and non-bike stuff (which varies a bit from ride to ride; stuff like jacket, clif bars, water bottles, keys). 4 full water bottles is I think a little over 3kg and I think my backpack is a bit under 1kg so in total I carry 8-9kg, with about 35% of it being on my frame (mostly water) and the rest on my back.
