At this point in the conversation, the cager will show their true reasons for driving their spawn to school.
Remember, they're not looking to be convinced, or to improve their ways. They just want stumble to try and find a non-embarrassing excuse to act the way they do without shame.
>"That sounds expensive."
Which neglects how expensive cages, and their upkeep, repairs, insurance, gas, etc. really are.
Even compared with quaxing e-bikes with all the bells and whistles.
>"That sounds strenuous."
Glossing over the fact that e-bikes are a thing, the cager seems to say that they're such a lazy fat-arse that they'd rather drive unnecessarily, spoiling their community with congestion and pollution, stunting their children's development, than put in (or make their kids put in) some exercice in their daily routine.
>"I need the car to go to work afterwards."
Then why not just go to work and let your children get to school on their own?
>"It's too far for them."
School buses are still a thing in most communities, and they probably have neighbours with kids who'd love to find another route to school.
>"I don't think global warming is a thing."
At this point, you'll realise you're not actually talking to a real person, but a pigeon with a driving license.
