Honestly the placement of some of the stops is a bit iffy, like the dogleg out to Glen Waverley. Maybe replace Fawkner with a new interchange with the Upfield line at Camp road. I'd say that area has better prospects for urban renewal than a station with half its catchment in a cemetery. It's pretty vague out in the west as well - surely there would be stops between Sunshine and Werribee?
As much as I support elevated rail like along the Dandenong corridor, there probably isn't enough room aboveground for anything other than a fully tunnelled route. Hopefully this doesn't preclude Metro 2 from happening, Melbourne is a rapidly growing city and we need to make up for decades' worth of underfunding for public transport.
