Guys, I need advice. I'm riding a 2020 trek marlin 7 at the moment as it was a financially careful decision when starting out in the hobby. Now I'm looking for something more serious for no more than £2000. I've found a 2016 specialized enduro elite 29" that purports to be in excellent condition with nothing wrong. The photos look pretty encouraging, but I'm worried about the general state of the components and how much they would cost to repair/replace seeing as how this is, or was in 2016, a very high end bike. It's a 3 hour drive to view the thing. It feels like a great opportunity to nab a great bike for relatively cheap (£1600). What do.
