>>1941652Not super interested in buying right now to be honest, but need to calm my autism. Basically just looking for a replacement for the old rigid MTB (pic related). The move towards 1x everything bothers me a lot.
Needs:
Relatively high gearing for pavement (my old 26" MTB has a 46T front chainring and goes down to 12T on the cassette)
Preferably not 1x, but it's not a deal breaker if the chainring is big enough.
Can fit 2" (50mm) tires for XC riding (maybe 47mm is ok?)
Prefer fully rigid but suspension is fine.
Under $900
I'm thinking gravel / adventure bike? Modern mid-level MTBs don't look like they will meet my needs.
