E-scooters are the future and anyone who says otherwise has probably never been on them. They are more nimble and portable than a bicycle and go way faster. It’s not perfect though. The tiny wheels and lack of suspension can pose a real risk if you hit certain obstacles like potholes or curbs or even large rocks. The lower end models tend to have very stiff tires as well, almost like plastic, which means basically the whole thing has zero articulation in it. If you ride over a rock the displacement of the whole front end is so sudden and jarring.
But if you have really smooth pavement and trails then this isn’t an issue. They are freaking awesome.
