Here's a picture of the bike I rode today, mostly on pavement, but I went home at lunchtime and on the way back I rode the trail that leads to work despite it being muddy and half-covered in snow and ice. It has been a while since I deliberately 'underbiked' in those conditions and it was oddly satisfying.
Tonight it will snow again and tomorrow I'll use my bike optimized for those conditions and it will be much, much less challenging. Maybe if I can leave early enough I can stop and get a picture for this thread...
