I asked /n/ what to do for a commuter bike with a bit of cargo capacity. They said
>MTB w/slixx
so here it is. This thing looked like it had seen many trails when I got it so I did a lot of replacements and adjustments.
Will I get more responsiveness/power efficiency by replacing the fork with a solid fork or by replacing the shitty, worn-down rear cogset with a new one and trading the front cogs for a narrow-wide so my chain stops skipping every time I push hard? I assume the fork.
Other to-do's:
- clean, adjust & replace fluid for disc brake
- make bike uglier :}
